Vega Sindoa Viura Chardonnay 2005 - An unusual blend for Spain, but successful. An
excellent picnic/deck wine. The Viura adds a little acidity to the Chardonnay. Delicious

Domaine de la Solitude Cotes du Rhone 2005 - A very good vintage in all of France and one
of our favorite producers. The wines from this region are wonderful for their ability to
match so well with foods. $14.99
Gnarly Head Zinfandel Lodi 2006 - From California's Central Valley, planted by the
descendants of the Gold Rush settlers, so home to old vines that produce very good Zins. A
little spice and pepper make for a great BBQ wine. $9.99
Zeni Rose 2005 - An Italian rose from the Dolomite region, north, mountainous, made
unusually from the Pinot Noir grape, a somewhat serious Rose which matches very well with
all summer foods. $9.99
La Bastide Blanche Bandol 2006 - Americans have some set notions about roses: have to be
served freezing cold as an aperitif, must be newest vintage, are all sweet "blushes." This
is another serious wine from one of the best regions for this style, that can dispel these
notions. $18.99
Ridge Zinfandel Paso Robles 2003 - A special treat. Paul Draper is one of the legendary
winemakers of California. A pioneer in growing regions as well as Zinfandel. A great wine
for a special meal or occasion. $29.99
